About the Band

	Bruce Hoffenberg (Drums, Vocals) Get Back's Captain and Director of Fun has lent his talents to many bands, but this group is the BruMan's "dream". You'll hear his gravelly tenor punching through on everything from Bad Company to Hendrix, then mellowing out for a Beatles Classic. Bruce keeps the band rockin'; and, as his many friends will testify, is truly "Hard to Handle".
	Paul Mermel (Bass, Vocals) Sporting a Hofner violin bass guitar, daring to attempt McCartney's bass lines; is it merely coincidence that the guy is named Paul? Eerie! Come to the next Get Back show to hear the harmonies Paul and Bruce have been working on since high school.
	Rick Peretz (Guitar, Vocals) This six-stringer had a nomadic childhood: 'Born on the Bayou', and raised in the 'Summer of '69'. It was a 'Honky Tonk Woman' that led him to a life-long love affair with singing in smoky bars. For further lame allusions to the Get Back set list, come on out to the next gig!
	Ken Wartenberg (Lead Guitar, Vocals) Ken's life was changed when he walked into a movie theatre to see the first Beatles film, 'A Hard Day's Night'. By fifth grade, he was in a band; he studied music in college; and later, taught rock lead guitar to dozens of students. Ken has lent his talents to many bands, including The Reasons and Messenger -- and we're happy to welcome him as the newest member of Get Back!
